May 23 3:00 – 4:00 Place: Stand4 Gallery Nicole Peyrafitte artist and poet, reads from Interglacial Narrows by Pierre Joris, a collection that draws on his own poems and his work as a translator and essayist, and was conceived at the edge of The Narrows. Peyrafitte participated in Essential Shore / Permeable Future at Stand4 last year. Charting the Narrows & The Harbor, a solo installatio Peyra. This is McGregor’s first exhibition as an artist at Stand4 Gallery. She was the curator of Stand4’s first and second public art biennials, Bay Ridge Through an Ecological Lens and Essential Shore, Permeable Future, which focused on the community and ecology of Bay Ridge. McGregor’s immersive biennial work with Stand4 is the inspiration for this place-based installation. Collaborations with past biennial artists, Jan Mun and Nicole Peyrafitte will be included in the exhibition’s programming
