Sandra Gardner

“DROWNING MEMORY”
"Is about my cousin, Donna Faye Gardner, who drowned at the age of 3 in Elmira, New York, during the Chemung River flood of 1946. As one newspaper article put it, "The city of Elmira escaped with the loss of one life." How does the loss of one life affect those left behind?"
Sandra Gardner is a musician, artist, graphic designer, and mother. She has been composing, recording, and performing music in the group Poem Rocket for fifteen years. Sandra studied printmaking at the City College of New York.
Sandra will be accompanied by her long time collaborator and partner Michael Peters.
