ED ATKESON
You may have seen Ed at the Firlefanz Gallery on Lark St. where he is part owner and helps produce the shows there.He has been a painter, printmaker, performance artist, and is an award winning book designer.You may remember his work as a member of Workspace Loft Incorporated, Albany’s Fluxus art group in the 70s.Recent activities include producing puppet shows at Firlefanz and playing and singing with The New Ragtime Jug Stompers.

SAM TRUITT
was born in Washington, DC, and raised there and in Tokyo, Japan. He is the author of Vertical Elegies 5: The Section (Georgia, 2003), Vertical Elegies: Three Works (UDP, 2003) and Anamorphosis Eisenhower (Lost Roads, 1998), among other books, as well as the DVD Transverse (Press Here Books, 2004). An excerpt of Raton Rex (from Three Works) was selected by Robert Creeley for 2002 Best American Poetry (Scribner), and his work has also been anthologized in American Poetry: The Next Generation (Carnegie Mellon, 2000).
His Performance:
TRANSVERSE
Framing and showing selections from Transverse, one of a series of his improvisational CD-books composed on an Olympus W-10 Digital Voice Recorder, which allows for photographs to be taken simultaneous to recording and, sequentially tied to the sound track, played back as they fall and as they were recorded. A C EVERSON
--a.k.a. the piñata queen-- is a local homegrown poet, sculptor and performance artist. She attempts to shed a new light on the many uses of piñatas (that she makes) as an art form, and as the main feature in her various Breaking My Art performances which she has done coast to coast, along with reading her poetry in three countries (including this one) A C has two chap books entitled Soap Box and my Two Cents and Love AC Style that she prints herself and are available at the Lark St Book Store.  A C also has recorded two CD’s with local musicians, they are available upon request. Meaning she burns them herself. Her third chap book entitled Then Some should be available soon.
Her Performance:
SOME OF THE SAME DONE COMPLETLY DIFFERENT
w/ illustrations, figurines, live action video and of course piñata. The Mermaid rides the wave of a stage again. No one should leave empty handed. Friends musicians (Mitch Elrod, Pete Shean and.....) will join in
